Dr. Ravikiran Vutha is a highly qualified and skilled neurosurgeon with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the field. His academic journey includes earning his MCh in Neurosurgery from the premier instititue KEM Hospital and GS Medical College where he worked for 8 years, His MS in General Surgery was from BYL Nair hospital and, and MBBS from Sion Hospital all belonging to the prestigious Maharashtra University of Health Sciences offering the best exposure, training and surgical practises across the country.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of medicine and over 9 years in the field of neurosurgery, Dr. Ravikiran has honed his expertise in various subspecialties of neurosurgery, particularly in Functional Neurosurgery. He has dedicated the last 3 to 4 years to specializing in cases related to neuromodulation, including Epilepsy Surgery and Deep Brain Stimulation procedures for Parkinsons and Dystonia. His passion for neuromodulation is evident through his certifications from reputable institutions, such as the William Harvey Research Institute at Queen Mary, University of London. He has been conferred upon a prestigious Post Graduate Degree in Neuromodulation and advanced pain management from Queen Mary University England.

He has extensive experience of over 6000 surgeries including brain tumors, spine surgeries, pediatric surgeries, endovascular procedures, and epilepsy surgery.

Notably, Dr. Ravikiran has achieved recognition for his academic and clinical excellence, receiving awards such as the Best Resident Award in Neurosurgery at KEM Hospital and the Best Paper Award at the Bombay Neurological Association.

He has been trained in Japan for various sub speciaities of neurosurgeries. Dr Ravikiran is among the few neurosurgeons who are trained in both open and Endovascular neurosurgery making it an ideal mix of experience in treating Vascular Problems (Aneurysms/AVM) via open or minimal invasive methods as the case requires.
